Freeware Pop-up blocker?

Helo everyone. I want to get rid of boring pop-up windows that jump out of web pages all the time. This can be pretty annoying and I would like to experience the feeling of surfing web without pop-ups. Can someone recommend a good freeware pop-up blocker? And if not too much to ask, where can I download this?

Hi. I can tell you two places where to search what you need. is a place where I counted 14 different programs of such kind. I do not know which one is the best since I do not use popup blocker at all. I do not have popups when surfing and am not sure what is the reason for this. I use Opera browser and feature to block popups is I think enabled by default there. And might be the sites I visit are not so aggressive in this way.
