| Hello. I am so amazed with the codec support inside Linux. I have installed Vector Linux SOHO, and it just has all. Everything you will need ever for any kind of work. Every single piece of hardware is detected and installed by the system with some of my help. Now, I didnt saw any software for Video editing, or I just dont know there is one yet inside. I want to see if there is something equivalent to Virtual Dub for example, compiled for Linux. Who knows? Thanks in advance. |

| Hello. The Debian sources are the most common and they are in a huge number, for all sections. The most used distribution ever, the Debian. 99 of them should work under any other distribution, but you might have some difficulties regarding editing the certain sections. Never mind, you have Virtual Dub in a open source world for Linux, too. There are also other apps you might try like: AvideMux, Cinelerra, GNU VCDImager, Jahshaka, Kino, Lives and many, many more. |
