I'm having trouble with using the Free Download Manager and Mozilla Firefox. I used to have GetRight, and it worked perfectly with Firefox's flashgot plugin, but right now I'm stuck with FDM, and it won't play nicely with that plugin. Basically, whenever I click a download link in Firefox, a window pops up informing me that "free dwnld manager isn't installed", when it clearly is. Any thoughts on how best to handle this?

After you made the switch from GetRight to FDM, did you remember to configure Flash Got to use your new download manager? You really shouldn't rely on the plugin to reconfigure itself when you change the download client you were using...
Go to the Tools menu in Firefox, then the FlashGOt submenu, then click "More Options". Once there, choose "Free Download Manager" from the drop-down meny.
