I have an old computer at my home with Windows ME installed on it. I have bought an used hard drive and I would like use it as external hard drive. This hard drive is formatted as NTFS so it is unusable for Windows ME. Can I format hard drive in external caddy to FAT32. If I can would you explain to me how.

You can format hard drive in external caddy as FAT32. Because you are using Windows ME you will have to first delete partitions on that hard drive and then create new ones and format them as FAT32. You can do this from disk management tool in Control Panel. Easier option will be using some third party software like Partition Magic.
