Formatting a partition on an External HDD

Hello there folks. How do I format the other partitions on the same IDE or slave Hard Drives? When I install Windows, C partition is formatted by default, right? How do I perform format later on other drives and partitions? I am asking because I have one external drive which is crying for format I think. Thanks in advance.

You can use the manage option. Right click on the My computer system icon and select manage. You will find Disk management utility there. And inside you will see any drive letter representing the drive it self just as it is under Windows. Right click on the desired drive and select format with the all other options carefully defined and you should than just wait for operations to finish. Remember, it is always easier and quicker to destroy than to keep or secure any data.
