Hello people. I don’t understand quite enough everything needed to me so far. But I am very quick learner. I don’t know why do I have perfectly scanned image just on the preview or edit mode? No matter in which file format I choose to save the picture, it always look much, much, much worst than original. If someone knows the trick to preserve the most closest match, I would be very grateful. Thanks.

Select the resolution for your image the scanner settings. Set the maximum DPI. The image will be pretty heavy, and you cannot send it as such via email for example. Export the image in TIFF format. Then open the image with some of your favorite editor and reduce the file size and depends for which purpose your picture is, the format is up to you, right? JPEG, GIF, PNG ideal for everything. PDF for press. If you want max quality, than this is it. In any other way, 300 DPI is quite enough.
