Firewalls and 56K modems question

Hello. I have problems with my dial-up connection occasionally. I think that my firewall is blocking or interrupting almost every attempt. I am using Zone Alarm pro security suite by the way. Does this firewall works well after all? I got this firewall installed together with the computer. I am about to try something else, because when Zone Alarm is not working I can connect easily. Which firewall is the most best with low cost dial-up connections? Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I think that you have the best security system installed. Zone Alarm is very obstinate, that is true, but when you configure it once as well, there is no doubt that something is still able to pass trough. You have probably blocked the dial-up connection when the question from Zone Alarm was directed to you. Anyway, if you are really about to remove Zone Alarm from your system I can recommend you Sygate personal firewall pro. Totally different policy rules and much easier to configure everything.
