I had Zone Alarm as personal firewall but it made me many problems and I have decided to get rid of it. Now I need a new firewall and I am not going to install just anything. I had more the enough problems with prior firewall. Can you suggest me some good firewall?

There are several firewalls that are good and easy on resources. Good one is Sygate if you can find older version before Symantec acquired them. Now it is usual Norton bloatware. My favorite is Outpost firewall. It is slightly harder to configure but it gives you more control and it is easy on resources.
