I have just bought Final Fantasy XI and unsuccessfully tried to install it. Installation went fine during installing from Disk 1 but installation stopped on half installation from Disk 2 with some error saying that 5.DAT file can not be copied. I have tried several times but installation stops every time on the same spot. Can I repair this issue somehow?

This can mean that installation disk is bad and you should call store where you bought CDs and ask them to give you working CDs. Other option is some issues with protection software. I guess that you are using DVD drive to install this game, because some people reported similar issues when tried to install from DVD ROM. If you have CD drive put CDs in that drive and tried to install. Also close Daemon tools or any other emulation software. This should allow you to install the game.
