. Q: Help needed! I’ve set up a home network among me and my roommates and when I tried to start up the file sharing it wouldn’t work. I have no idea where I could have gone wrong, because I had detailed instructions. Can you tell me what the problem can be and how to solve it? Thanks a lot!

Well, I see the problem in the fact that you tried to set up the network on your own. You shouldn’t have done that because it’s a complex process and unless you’re qualified, you can’t be sure that you’ve done everything properly. My next suggestion is to call somebody who is in order to take a look at your network and try to fix it. I really have no idea what the problem can be, but I reckon that it has something to do with the wireless modem you’re using. Maybe it isn’t well connected or maybe something is within its electromagnetic range. Don’t keep it near microwave oven. But don’t meddle on your own anymore.
