Hello. I have sort of an unusual problem that I'd like some advice on. Whenever I start up my PC, I find this new icon called "ACM Online", with some sort of card logo on it. I have no idea what this is, but when I click on it, it opens up Internet Explorer and goes to some site (complex link). Because AVG blocked access to this site, I immediately shut down the browser and deleted the icon, with security in mind. However, it comes back to the desktop every single time I restart? How is this even possible? What do I do?

It's very possible, actually. By deleting the icon, you're not uninstalling anything, and you're most definitely not removing any malicious adware that's obviously found its way onto your system. Download and install Spybot, run a scan, and let it clean out your system of adware and the like. That should kill the browser-hijacking icon thing as well.
