| Hello! I have installed dial up modem on my computer and I wanted to send a fax. But, I could not find how to do that. This is very strange because I have heard that fax software already exist in Windows XP. Now, I am not sure if it is true. If you know how to send fax from Windows XP, please tech me. Thank you! |

| Hello! You cannot send fax because Windows XP software is not automatically installed, so, you will need to install it first. To install it go to Control Panel, then click Add/Remove programs and find there Add/Remove Windows Components and click on it. Choose from the list Fax Services and check it. Click Next button and wizard will do the rest. After this you need to configure Fax. Just go to Accessories, then to Communications and, at the end Fax. Open Fax console and configure settings. |
