Hello. Is it normal for a brand new PC to be shipped without “fixed” screen? I have noticed that my screen size is way too big and way too ugly. Much more than it is supposed to be. I have looked over the internet for the drivers, after I figured out what I need, and I downloaded them. While the installation was up to, I had no difficulties, or my computer didn’t, and after that computer required restart. After next logon, there were no changes at all. The screen is still the same and I can’t see any change at all. I am about to make some complains to the company who sold me. Thanks in advance.

This issue is pretty much familiar to me. I had this problem with my old graphic card, which operated pretty much great until I tried to change its BIOS. I heard that it is possible to change ATI’s R350 chipset from version 9550 to version 9600. And I blew something up, so the final result was exact the same situation as you have right now. I don’t know which nVidia models do support successful flashing, but any way, you have complete rights to complain.
