Hello! I have Fantom Firewire external drive and my problems with it started few days ago. Namely, my system does not detect it at all. I have tried to connect it before I turn on computer nothing. I have tried to connect it after my system is booted nothing. Have you any idea what problem could be? Thanks!

Hello! I think that your drive went bad. But, just to be sure, take it out and connect it as IDE in your case. If you find that it is broken, then you will need new drive. But, if with it everything is ok, then you will need FireWire. So, only you need to do now is to test as I described.
