I have bought new external hard drive. It has 120 GB capacity. I want to transfer a lot of documents, music and other files through it (e.x. when I want to give to my friend some music, I do not need to burn it on cd, I just can copy files to my external hard and go to him, plug hard into his computer and thats it). But, I am able to see just 80 GB of its capacity. This is ok size, but I bought 120 GB and I want 120 GB! Do you know what issue is this/

First, be sure that you set lba mode in your bios. If you are, then I assume that the problem is that your CMOS didnt fully recognize your hard disk. That mean that you have some bios limitation and you can fix this if you go to the motherboards manufacturer site and download update. After that your hard disk should work properly.
