| A week ago, I bought external USB CD-RW and it worked just fine. Since this morning, I have been experiencing some strange problems. When I want to burn something my external CD-RW rejects all CDs. I don't know what is going on. Is there a possibility that it is already damaged? |

| I don't think that your drive is damaged. You did not experience problem with rejecting CD's from the beginning. Therefore, I think you should check what you do on your machine since yesterday. You may install some new driver or software that could cause your problem with USB burner. Maybe your drive just has some temporary problem. Because of that, you should try to replug it once again. Also, there is a possibility that you have some virus or adware that may cause your problem. You should do a complete check of your machine. Maybe your CD mediums are damaged so you should try them in another burner. If nothing of this will not help, there is a possibility that your burner is damaged. |
