I got internal ZIP drive for a present. Unfortunately, I do not have a space for it in my computer case. It would be a pity not to use it at all, so I was thinking about hooking it up with external 3.5 case and using it like external ZIP drive. Is this possible to do? Thank you in advance for your prompt reply.
It is perfectly possible to use external 3.5 case for internal ZIP drive. It can act as any other external case and there are no specifically external devices. It is the same thing like external hard drives. Some of the good choices for External 3.5 case are Moving Star 3.5" CUBE SATA TO USB 2.0 Enclosure and Vantec NexStar 3 USB 2.0 Aluminum 3.5" External Enclosure. They look nice and they are reliable.
