Hi there. When I try to upload some Excel file to a particular Access database file, I'm always getting a field format error in the cells defined for date. After that the file transfer is aborted. Before I start the upload, I created FDF file from the Access file, just to give some try, and the dates are still defined as ISO format, the same as in Excel spreadsheet. Even than, the problem is still present. Anybody knows how to defeat this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hello. The Excel format differs from the Access format pretty much. You can try for example with the HLL language and the date function inside. The conversion of date and time functions from excel can be converted with the SQL date and time functions too. Anyway, there are much more ways to perform proper conversion from Excel time and date format to any other. Especially to Access.
