| Hi there. I dont know what to think anymore because of one of my networked computers. It is responding really, really slow if I compare it to the other computers. I dont know what is the reason for this and lets say that it takes around 10 seconds to browse the network neighborhood, while other machines need 1 second or two. All computers are the same. I am beginning to doubt no Ethernet port or something regarding it. Could it be that the cable or connector needs a replacement? Thanks in advance. |

| Very possible, if you ask me. And nothing strange by the way. Reinstall the network card drivers or update them on that machine if you are using integrated LAN card. IF your cables are off the wall, than maybe some foot has squashed the piece of the cable and transmitting is corrupted. Sudden power losses could produce such situations also. For start, play with your drivers a little bit, and replace the connector. Than youll know for sure. |
