Hello! I just got from my parents my first computer. I will be very grateful if you told me something about essential steps to PC security. I only have windows XP installed on my computer and anything more. I hope that I am not boring to you and that you will give me some useful advice. Thank you very much!

Hello! First of all, you need to install some antivirus on your computer. Firewall is also good option (of course, beside antivirus). Then, you should install antispyware and antitrojan, too. With these programs you should be right protected, but still, I do not recommend you to visit some high risk sites, or to use peer to peer connection. Also, I do not recommend you playing games over internet. Just be careful.
