Hello. I'm having a problem with Procurve switches here that I don't quite know what to make of. Basically, I can't connect to any; when scanning, the "Time Out Error" comes up. Telnet similarly fails, though it's still possible to manually telnet to the switches. I've tried a number of things, but nothing seems to work. Any thoughts?

This exact problem seems to come up every now and then. I'd imagine it would be in some FAQ by now. Anyway, your default configuration is set to "Menu", isn’t it? Thought so. Just use the Setup command to change it to CLI, and ProCurve wil connect properly. |
