| hello. I have an annoying popup massage all the time and could do nothing to make it disappear. This is some kind of error massage and it says ”NSCSRVCE.EXE - Unable to locate component”. It also says "This application has failed to start because ccl30.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I think this is related to Norton, but do not know what exactly to reinstall to fix this. Anyone knows? |

Hi there. This problem occurs because of mistakenly installing two copies of Norton Antivirus I think. This can be solved by finding and copying wanted dll. to the right place, but this might be somehow difficult. It is easier to reinstall program entirely. Just one important thing to do, to avoid same problem again: take care of order in which you install. You need to install NIS (Norton Internet Security) first, and then NSW (Norton System Works), but without Antivirus component. This is because both of these contain Antivirus, and there can not be two antivirus programs on the system. One more thing; you need to uninstall previous installations properly. This can be done by use of SymNRT.exe tool. Here is web link to download this: Try first with regular uninstall option and if you have problems (sometimes it makes problems) you can do with this.
