Error message when trying to remove spyware

I have AVG Anti Spyware installed and it correctly detected some spy ware on my system. But it , unfortunately, can not remove some of the malicious programs from my system. I keep getting message that certain spy ware can not be removed because file is locked or something. What should I do to clean my computer completely?

You get this error because spyware program is active and in process list so it can not be removed like this. You will have to let AntiSpyWare program to delete it after next reboot if it is able (and most programs are) or boot in safe mode and run full scan from there. This way you will prevent spyware from starting up and it will be properly deleted.
