Hi. When I double click on any Excel file I receive following error message:” Cannot find the file C:\Excel_Files\Workbook1.xls (or one of its components). Make sure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.” After this Excel opens but instead of desired workbook I can see only blank workbook. How can solve this problem?

Problem with error message when double clicking on any Excel file is caused by invalid registry keys that point to earlier versions to Excel and conflict with current Excel registry entries. This [problem is likely to happen if you uninstalled earlier version of Office and installed new one. Solution for your problem involves editing registry entries so I would suggest you to visit Microsoft knowledge base and search for article ID 323216 and follow steps described there.
