I have tried to change firewall settings in Windows XP (built in firewall) but I received following error message: Due to an unidentified problem, Windows cannot display Windows Firewall settings.. Then, I tried to start manually this service but received Error 127 code. How can I change firewall settings now? Thank you in advance.

This can happen because of corrupted SharedAccess registry key or because you have Windows Live OneCare installed. If you have OneCare installed then you can ignore this error because OneCare has its own firewall and you should configure it. In other case you will need to do some registry tweaking. The best option is to search internet for sharedaccess.reg file, download it and with double click merge it into registry. This should fix your problem.
