Hi there! I have an Emachines 270 computer with Intel Celeron 1.7GHz processor. I want to update this processor to some Pentium 4 over 2 GHz, but I’ve run into a problem. This mobo supports only processors up to 2GHz with this bios, but I can’t find the bios upgrade anywhere!

Hello! Unfortunately, the computer you’ve got is a low-end machine and the support for it is discontinued, so I think it is impossible to find fresh bios for it. I suggest you to sell it while you can get some money for it, and buy yourself a brand new computer. If you didn’t change anything in your emachines 270, you should get at least 50$ for it.
