EA Battlefield 2142 with a spyware included

I want to buy EA Battlefield 2142 but I heard that there is spyware included with this game. I can not believe this is a truth but I had to check with you. Is it possible that company like Electronic Arts sink so low to include spyware programs. And you have to pay for that. What have you heard abou this issue?

Sadly, this is the truth. They have included spyware program to monitor your surfing habits so they can customize in-game advertisement. Personally, I think that if they want to release game with in-game ads and spyware they should not charge for it but give it freely and earn money through advertisement. Otherwise this is completely bad move. Worst of all, you are noticed about this only after you open your box which makes impossible to return this piece of spying software to its makers and ask for refund.
