Hello. I sort of lost my secondary HDD. I don’t know how it happened, it was there the other day and now it’s not. I checked all the cables and connections and everything, and they seem fine. When I load BIOS, it detects the dynamic drive peoperly, size, type, name, everything. However, when I load Windows XP, it just can’t find it! I had over 50 GB of data there, I don’t suppose they’re lost forever, are they? What should I do?

Ah, joy of lost dynamic discs on XP, I know thee well. My advice to you is: Find and download a program called Active Parition Recovery. It’s a great little application that you can use to restore your data, usually under a different drive name. For more to-the-point advice, you need to give usem ore details about the hard drive.
