Hello. I have bought new external HDD rack with 320 gigabytes on it. It uses the DC adapter and USB connection. Looks pretty cool, but there is one problem. The system detects the hardware, pop-up message with “found new drive” just as when you connect the pen drive, but after that, HDD isn’t anywhere! And I can notice that hardware is operational according by the led indicator. Any ideas?

Hi there. Yes, I have some great idea. Open disk management utility and create partitions on that drive as most probably the drive came without being unformatted by factory defaults. Right click on my computer and click “manage”. Then, select the disk management from the right menu task pane. Just don't rush anywhere and read carefully.
