Hello. I ma trying to set up a home network and I have a dilemma regarding dual NIC in one computer. As far as I know I can connect computer to internet using internet connection sharing and dual NIC on one computer and connect with second computer through this one. Second option is router, if I am not mistaken. What do you recommend to me?

I will always recommend router instead of dual NIC and internet connecti0on sharing setup. With internet connection sharing you have to keep computer with two network cards powered on if you want to access internet from second computer. On the other hand, with router you do not need to do this and you have some good possibilities regarding network protection like hardware firewall, encryption and other things.
