| I don't think that your graphic card is damaged. I think that you probably have a software problem. There are several possible reasons that might cause a problem like yours. The simplest one would be an error in the process of downloading. In that case, your video driver update file might be damaged. To check that, you should try to download it once more and than try to reinstall it. You may also have a wrong version of driver for your operating system. Your version of drivers could be for some other OS like Windows Vista and you may have a XP. In that case, you have to find and download the proper version for your operating system. Last reason for your problem could be that your driver update may need some service pack or add-ons. If that is the problem, download and install them first. If nothing helps, then complete reinstall certainly will. |
