| Greetings. I have created system backup few days ago with this program. Now the time has already come to restore it back, and there is the point where whole thing throttled. I earned some viruses, a lot of them, Cleaning was unsuccessful, and so on. When I started the system for the first time after the restore procedure, there were a couple of mistakes I can say, and now, I can’t boot at all! |

| It is a mbr error I can guess. All those imaging programs are making similar problems and all of them are messing up with Master Boot Record. The first portion of the hard drive, on the very beginning of the first cluster and sector. So minor but pretty much important, what is even more important, you can edit that info written there by using fixmbr command from the recovery console. With Windows XP CD, you can enter the recovery console. |
