Im not using pirated software myself so I cant tell my experiences about that, but sure someone here can tell their story. I know that penalties when you get caught can be very high, so be careful. Sometimes these penalties can excide cost of buying legal software even 10 times. So what Im trying to say this is not very smart or ethical to do. Talking about ethic Im not on their side, Im kind on your side. I talk about companies that earn large amount on selling legal copies of music, movies etc. Just I use another way of dealing with them, I use free software.
Yes Im another Linux user that wants all his software for free. And I was normal Windows user just a year ago, then I figured out how much will I actually save by learning Linux. Then I installed my first linux Ubuntu and start to learn everyday, until I could do all things there that I did with Windows.
Now I dont have any problems with legal things anymore and I can say Im pretty satisfied with that. I think I going to use linux for a long time.
