Hello. I have one pretty outdated computer and am not a very experienced user. I would like to bye a new one and learn more about technology itself. How hard could it be to build a PC configuration by myself? What do I have to know to do it? Are there some web sites about ”doing it all by yourself” PC stuff? Can you recommend me some?

Hello, I am glad to help if I can. There are some web sites where you can learn about how to do PC stuff by yourself, there are even some tutorials or courses online or to download. I am not using these web sites since I am an experienced user of PC, but can give you some addresses. Web sites that have links related to “do it yourself” computer technology are: www.u22.com, reviews.about.com , ch.com . Perhaps you can search for some more interesting sites on this subject. About PC technologies related both to hardware and software, I usually use Computer Stuff section of tuffworks.com , or simply enter the topic I am interested about in some search engine. I hope this will be of some help to you.
