Hello. I am planning to by Dell computer. I know that Dells are coming with preinstalled Windows XP and OEM CD with Windows XP installation. What I would like to know is Dell using a custom version of Win XP. You know, some components moved some others added. Thank you for your answer in front.

Hi. Dell is not using custom version of Windows XP (it is the same situation with every other computer manufacturer). They have some stuff that is Dell specific, like drivers and some applications and this Windows will not work correctly on any other computer except Dell, but you can normally update your Windows and it works like any other.
