Dlink Di-604 Router connection issues

Hello. I have bought this router yesterday, because I am attending to share my connection with other computers connected to my network. But since I started using it, it eats my bandwidth. My speed is 10 times slower trough this router than it is supposed to be. I dont know where to start to search for the problem. Thanks in advance.

Hello. This seems like you are going to need new firmware for your router. The best and smartest thing you can do is to call their support and ask for a new firmware. This might happen because of some newer version of a particular network card driver. You will know for sure if you try to connect to the internet again, but using your modem only, or whatever you use to connect to the internet.
