Display problem - Like old graphics

Hello there. I have upgraded my video card from old GeForce 440MX to ATI Radeon 9600 XT. After starting up computer screen is totally unusable. It looks like I have installed some old graphics card: small resolution and very few colors. I would be very grateful if you could help me to solve this problem with display.

Hello there. I am completely sure that you have not uninstalled drivers for previous graphics card and installed drivers for new one. Download latest drivers for your video card from ATI web site, reboot to safe mode, uninstall old drivers and install new ones. This will solve display problem and it will look like it should and not like you have old graphics card.
