Hello. I had some old PCI graphic card. Something like RAGE 3D, I don’t know. The problem appeared when I tried to install GeForce FX 5200. I have the beep sound and everything else, but I don’t have the picture at all. I can enter the BIOS, but that’s all. After, Save & Exit setup, I have no picture. Where did I go wrong? Is it possible that I somehow “destroyed” the main VESA driver? Thanks in advance.

Hi there. I think not. I think that you should try entering the BIOS again, and locate the option for main display driver card. Some BIOS chips can detect the card automatically, and some of them don’t. You need to set the AGP graphic card as the primary display, as it is possible that PCI is still the default one, and it is not present anymore? By the way, I think that you didn’t removed the VESA driver. It is little harder to do.
