Display adapter problem

Hello. I have a strange problem with display adapter. When I install Windows XP everything works fine. When I install drivers for video adapter and reboot Windows wont start. It comes to first Windows logo screen and then freezes. I have tried several times to reinstall Windows and the problem remains. Until I install driver everything works fine. Do I have problem with display adapter or there is some other explanation?

Hi. I have to say that it is hard to troubleshoot this kind of problem like this. I would recommend you to download latest driver for your display adapter and see if this driver will make a problem. It is quite possible that driver is corrupted and Windows is unable to load it. This leads to problem with display adapter. On the other hand, with default Windows driver everything works fine so I think that driver is the definite problem here.
