I have just installed Windows XP. I have pretty good machine, with some of the latest hardware components, but it seems like my resolution cannot be set to more than 640x480. I have tried to adjust it, but I seem to be unable to do something like that. If anyone has any suggestions, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Some of the most general problems happening in Windows with its display you can troubleshoot and in some very short steps you will have your problem solved. To see that, go to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/307960. One of the problems may be that you have no adequate drivers for graphic card or your monitor. If you did not have the connection to the Internet, the drivers would not be downloaded either. However, if you connect and download the drivers, or let the Windows search them for it, I do not think there will be any problems. Best of luck.
