Hello! I am not beginner in IT world, but I have faced very strange problem. It seems like my DVD drive has identity crisis. Smile It is not ale to read DVDs, but can read CDs; but, on the other hand, it is able to burn DVDs and CDs. I have tried with removing it from Device Manager, but that did not help.
p.s.
I run Win XP Pro

Hello! I have already heard for this problem, fortunately, I have never faced it. Some people claims that this problem will be solved if you update your firmware; others saying that reinstalling Windows helps. I suggest you to try to update firmware first and if this does not help, try with Windows reinstallation.
