| I got a computer last year as a birthday present. Because I don't know much about computers, I immediately signed on a course about its using. Now I am attending an Access 2003 course and I have a task to complete. However, I run into problem. From time to time, my Access aplication gives me an error "The expression is not valid". A colleague from course told me that I have to disable expression blocking in Access 2003. How? |

| Because you are attending a course for using Access, I assume that you are making a standard application in Access. Therefore, I do not think that your problem is related to expression blocking in Access. You cannot block or unblock common expressions in Access. Some expressions are automatically blocked if Access is in sandbox mode. There is also a possibility to block or unblock using of ActiveX controls in expressions. However, those problems are related with professional applications. Therefore, I think that you probably have a problem with Access or Windows setup. |
