Hi! I just started working in a huge office and I found some music that I really like on the computer I’m using. I wanted to transfer it to my home pc and so I brought my USB flash memory to work but although there is a USB port when I plugged it in, nothing happened. It was working all right so far and I’ve been using it really often lately to transfer movies and photos from friends machines to mine. I’m really sure it’s not broken. What else could be the problem?

I suppose that your network administrator has disabled USB storage devices from being used on your computer. I don’t think that there is a way for you to change that. The only solution would be that the administrator himself turns it on. I doubt that it will happen, it’s a policy with most of the networks recently not to allow USB devices. I’m sorry but you’ll have to find another way to get those files to your PC.
