| I share my internet connection with my sister. But I am paying for it. Ok, I dont mind sharing, but I mind when she is downloading all sorts of movies. Then the internet is much slower, and I cannot work. I want to Disable local area connection! But only when I am working. I have WinXP. Thank you in advance. |

| I sure understand your problem. And it is not very nice of her. She must understand that you have work to do, and nothing bad will happen if she stops downloading, for couple of hours. But you also have NetLimiter. That is a very nice program, when you have that kind of problems. It limiteds the internet.But ok. You want to disable Local Area Connection. First you should go to Control Panel. Than you should go to Network Connections. You should see which connection is local Area Connection. You shouldnt disable internet connection. Just right click on connection and disable.And that is all. |
