Hey there! I wanted to change the firm I’m working in for some personal reasons and so I applied for another job. They require me to take the Windows Server 2003 Active Directory Infrastructure exam. I have no problems with that except that I’ve never taken Microsoft exams before and I suppose that this exam requires some prerequisites. I was wondering what would the prerequisites be and could I get on without them?

I think you can find a lot of info on this issue on Microsoft’s education site. Anyway I’ll provide you with some basic info here and if you need more you should visit Microsoft’s site. Planning and Maintaining a Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure exam is prerequisite in a way but having the equivalent knowledge and skills without the actual certificate should be OK. What I’m not quite sure is how they determine that you have the sufficient knowledge but you’ll have to find this out for yourself.
