Hello. My sound drivers are fooling around with me. I am working as music editor. I have installed new ASIO platform, and now Adobe Audition 2.0 is playing nicely until I press anything out of edit window, and then stops the track and waiting for me to hit the play again. Before that I was able to minimize the whole program, and the sound still goes. Now I cant. Where is the problem I dont want to put back old drivers. Thanks for further assistance.

Hello. The problem is in your Audition configuration. The program it self requires default Audition Sound if you want to listen the sound in the background. It also depends of a sound card you are using. Something tells me that you are using Creative product, but nevermind. Youll find that setting under edit/audio hardware setup. Instead of ASIO you must select Default Audition Sound. But it is the purpose of the drivers it self, why should you change that? Thats the way Audition works with those drivers. Old habits, isn't it?
