My son cant play one game. I think it is Call of Juarez I dont know the name of it for sure, but I know that he mentioned something about DirectX and Graphic card. I am not very familiar in these terms, but my logic tells me what is Video Card. But what is DirectX 9.0? The video card is Ati Radeon 9250. Any suggestion about my problem, how to make this game works?

Direct X is graphical platform which is responsible for gaming in Windows. Without that piece of software, you cant have 2D & 3D picture, just as sound as well. So, that is something that every single game is using, just like a fuel in a car. And Games are the most intensive and power-hungry applications. If your machine can handle the needs of some great intensive game, than your machine can do anything else. And, you are speaking of DirectX, Ati 9250 and Call of Juarez. I think that I know what is your problem. That game cannot work, because ATI Radeon 9250, has got less power than game needs. And it is not fully DirectX 9 compatible. In software mode, yes. That is so called emulation. But its main Graphic processor isnt hardware capable for full support with DirectX 9.0 Ati Radeon 9600 pro, will handle that, for example. Or GeForce FX5700 and so on and on. Oh, if you have only 512 mb of ram memory, consider buying another 512 MB of ram. Not quite funny, right?
