Hello! I have one hard drive in my computer case and I cannot decide should I buy one more. Also, I do not know if both hard drives should be same brand (I have Maxtor) or I can buy some another. I would like to buy Seagate SATA hard drive, but I am not sure if it will be compatible with IDE Maxtor.

Hello! I think that you cannot have enough free space (and enough memory) on computer, so, I think that you should buy new hard drive. No mater if you buy some other brand hard drive. So, you can buy Seagate. If your motherboard has SATA connector, then you can buy SATA hard drive. I suggest you to set SATA hard drive (if you buy it) as master and IDE as slave.
