Hello! I have an old but good Canon A75 camera. Everything was Ok with it until yesterday, when it can’t be recognized by the pc any more. The good news is that the Camera itself works Ok, and the memory card is readable in the reader. But for some reason, I cannot establish a direct connection any more.

If your camera functionality is intact, then it can be only USB driver or camera driver on your PC. Try to reinstall the drivers for your camera (I suppose there are some drivers for it, because many cameras connect as a flash disk without problems). Also, try to change the cable you are using for the connection.
