Difference between ATA100 and ATA133?
Hullo! Going shopping soon purchasing new HDD! I need extra space, when I pack with files, I over pack, hi hi. So was about time to put another HDD floor in my PC case building. One thing bothers me the difference between ATA100 and ATA 133? Looking for pro opinion!

Welcome! Judging by the numbers can make stupid remark - bigger number standing by the ATA, which suppose to mean newer and better model. But in general, differences not suppose to be that big, maybe ATA133 slightly faster drive, would be my guess. To find out in technical terms what really distinguish ATA133 over ATA100; you must wait here for professional, which unfortunately I’m not.
